OYO IBEKU

MAY 29- 31 2004 NEW YORK -NEW JERSEY -CONNECTICUT
Ibeku
Egwu
Asaa of NY NJ CT
hosted the National Convention for the year 2004.
All the Chapters including the Dallas ,Houston,
Atlanta,
Members Atlarge and other
Igbo Organizations were very well
represented. All pictures can be seen at this website : http://ibeku.250free.com
.
Members were all very happy and
things were made very affordable to all attendees. The NY-NJ-CT
Chapter and its members made it all possible. There were very little constraints on
anything and we were able to do as wished. We have grown as a group in so many
ways including learning hosting each other. This we will
very much
build on to help further our mission. this is creating models..
To be the present or not to be !
That is the question,
"HOW MUCH DID I MISS IN NYNJCT ?"
Whether it is nobler to be in the
meeting room with Umunna, or to
suffer the issue of not getting the kind of details you are
seeking from attendees that are cheap and chintzy of restrictive
details. Or , to take arms
against a sea of scrimping and by clever compensating, transcend them?.
No, do not go that way.
In other words, see the
pictures as they happened
at http://ibeku.250free.com and we have the video too.!!!!..

Time
Our well-run
Convention
was more than a great meetings venue; it's was a
place to relax, retreat, recharge and renew our outlook on life as a
people [of Egwu Asaa Ibeku]. All our needs were met and we had to
get back to our homes. Back to what made us come to NY-NJ-CT
calling . This place was a serene setting geared to
meeting our group's needs. It happened.
All good things have to end some
way...It was time to go .!!
